Zassenhaus has been producing precision coffee grinders since 1867.  They still produce a fine range of manual coffee grinders.  If you have ever owned one, you will know that these German designed and crafted manual grinders are a joy to use.

As the name implies, it is mounted on a wall.  Though they are functional, nowadays, these grinders mostly ended up in  the homes of collectors.

These are really nice grinders but unfortunately, the entire line of German crafted Zassenhaus wall mills/grinders were discontinued in January 2005.

I wouldn’t say they are rare but it is not easy to find one, especially one that is new.  I would say that it will be harder and harder to acquire one as less collectors are willing to part with them.
